The Hotel St. Marie, one of the best hotels in New Orleans, presents special opportunities for groups and small meetings looking for a quiet venue apart from the sterile offerings of larger chain hotels. We welcome meetings, tour groups, conventioneers, family reunions and wedding groups at our convenient hotel in the French Quarter. Our 1,200 sq. ft. Audubon Meeting Room is just off the lobby and opens on the courtyard. Our Group Sales Department can arrange rooms, meeting space and catering, as well as restaurant reservations and tour itineraries for your group of 10 or more rooms.

Do your hotels offer group blocks? If so, what discount can be expected?

Our hotels offer group blocks (10 or more guest rooms). Typically, a 10% discount can be expected, but this may vary depending on specific dates.

How many guest rooms constitute a group block?

A group block must include 10 or more guest rooms. Reservations for groups of fewer than 10 guest rooms should be made by phone with our Reservations Department at 800-366-2743 -OR- online, one-room-at-a-time, on our website valentinohotels.com.

Are group blocks available during special events?

Group blocks are not offered during special events, major festivals, or citywide conventions. During these periods, guests may reserve individually online at valentinohotels.com -OR- by phone with our Reservations Department at 800-366-2743.

Can I have my wedding or reception in your hotel courtyard?

Sorry we don’t offer our courtyards or other outside areas for weddings and receptions. These areas must remain available for other registered hotel guests. Our hotels offer many wonderful interior venues and options for small weddings, receptions and rehearsal dinners.

How are pre and post block reservations handled?

Guests arriving prior to the group block dates or after the group block dates are asked to call our Reservations Department / 1-800-366-2743 to book additional nights.

Can I make an appointment to see your hotel?

Sure! But these must be conducted by prior appointment only. Please feel free to make an appointment through the sales office or directly with the hotel General Manger.

As the group leader, am I financially obligated for all these rooms?

We offer a range of reservation / payment options for group reservations, depending on the type of group. Please speak with a sales manager to determine the best reservation and payment policy to meet your needs.

Do you offer meeting space?

Our Hotel St. Marie and Basin St. Station locations offer beautiful venues for meetings, receptions, and seminars for up to 150 persons.

Can I book a group for 1 night on any Friday or Saturday night?

Due to the small size of our hotels and French Quarter booking patterns on weekends, we cannot offer 1 night group bookings on any Friday or Saturday night.
